Today, Friday 10th September 2021, the Commission distributed grants in the city of San-Fernando at the San-Fernando City Hall.
45 citizens of San-Fernando and environs received an estimated total of $900,000.00 to begin structural repair works on their homes.
The Commission’s Line Minister the Honourable Shamfa Cudjoe and His Worship The Mayor Alderman Junia Regrello - Mayor of San-Fernando spoke to the concept of being able to help yourself through the Commission’s assistance while returning to being our brothers’ keeper.
The Commission continues to take pride in investing in our citizens, notwithstanding limited financial resources to respond, especially in the current Wet/Hurricane season.
We look forward to hosting more grant distributions across Trinidad and Tobago.
