The Board of Directors of the National Commission for Self Help Limited (NCSHL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kelvin Frith as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective Monday 12 December 2022.
As CEO, Mr. Frith is responsible for positioning the organization at the forefront of the industry. He will play a critical role in the development and implementation of strategic policies and procedures that will advance the Commission’s mission and objectives. This timely appointment will ultimately lend to the managing of the organization’s operations to ensure efficiency, improved quality delivery of services and cost-effective management of resources.
Mr. Kelvin Frith is a self-motivated, driven individual with a desire for excellence through service. He has a well-established background in business management, project management and engineering, with over fifteen (15) years of professional experience in the public and private sectors. Being a passionate advocate for sustainable community development, he has managed to be involved in many initiatives that have fostered infrastructural and social development within our islands. Being a visionary who sets high expectations for himself with quality as a hallmark, Mr. Frith began his pursuit of excellence at the Heriot–Watt University, Edinburgh Scotland, where he attained a BSc. in Construction Project Management. His philosophy of being a lifelong learner led him to successfully completing an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire, Luton England in Business Administration with the intention to pursue a Doctorate in Business Administration soon.
Mr. Frith continued his educational advancement and completed his Post Graduate studies in Engineering Management (CIQ) from Westford University College, Dubai. He is a Master Project Manager and a Certified International Project Manager from the American Academy of Project Management and also a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI). He also holds certification from the University of the West Indies in River Mechanics, Practical Engineering Surveying and Estimation and Construction. The Board of Directors, Management and Staff congratulate Mr. Frith on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer at the National Commission for Self Help Limited and look forward to empowering communities throughout Trinidad and Tobago, under his stewardship.
